5.1 magnitude quake jolts southwest China

An earthquake of 5.1 magnitude on the Richter Scale hit Litang County, Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Garze, in southwest China's Sichuan Province in the wee hours on Friday.
According to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC), the earthquake occured at 1:23 a.m. Beijing Time, reports Xinhua.
The epicentre about 16 km deep was monitored at 30.10 degrees north latitude and 99.61 degrees east longitude.
So far, no casualties have been reported.
