5.8 magnitude quake jolts Iran-Iraq border

An earthquake measuring 5.8 on Richter scale struck the Iran-Iraq border region on Sunday.
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported that the epicentre of the quake was located around 41kilometers south-west of Sarpol-e Zahab in Iran around 13:42 pm (UTC).
According to reports, tremors had a depth of 8.9 km.
However, no casualties or damage to property has been reported so far.
