Abhishek Dayal takes over as Chief Information Officer in CBI

Abhishek Dayal took over as the Chief Information Officer in the Central Bureau of Information (CBI) on Monday.

Dayal, 47, was previously posted with the Press Information Bureau (PIB) as the Director, Media and Communication.

After joining the civil services in the Indian Information Service in 1997, Dayal started his career with Doordarshan News as manager and editor, news operations. He had handled assignments in the Home Ministry.
