An 'air shooting camera' equipped with GPS (global positioning system) technology was unveiled yesterday at Tokyo International Fire and Safety Exhibition.
Pasco, the world's leading Geospatial company launched the camera which can shoot clear pictures from an aerial view, say from an airplane or a helicopter. The in-built GPS enables it to identify the location of the subject accurately.
The camera would be beneficial in times of natural disaster. The clarity with which an image is clicked will give a clear idea of how much damage has been done and plan accordingly for rescue operations.
Pasco also introduced global ship monitoring technology which enables it to track movement of a ship that would be effective for safe and stable transportation of any consignment.
