Alec Baldwin and Danny Glover are set to star in AMBI Pictures' upcoming sci-fi/ action film 'Andron.'
According to the Hollywood Reporter, AMBI, a newly launched film production and finance company, has been owned by Andrea Iervolino and Lady Monika Bacardi.
'Andron' begins when a group of young men and women awake in a dark, claustrophobic maze. They don't remember who they are or how they got stuck in the black labyrinth. The group must learn to decipher codes, understand the signals and beat the tests in a mysterious and bizarre place. Out of necessity, they struggle to form a bond to survive.
Baldwin and Glover join a cast that also includes Michelle Ryan (BBC's EastEnders), Skin (lead singer from the U.K. band Skunk Anansie), Jon Kortajarena (A Single Man), Gale Harold (Queer as Folk) and Leo Howard (G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra).
Franceso Cinquemani wrote the screenplay and would also be directing the film, which marks his feature directorial debut.
