Over 500 students from prestigious schools of 9 countries including USA, Japan, Thailand, Germany, France, Italy, Slovenia, Australia and India are participating in 9 Committees of three day AIMUN 2015- Organization of Islamic Cooperation, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) along with others to deliberate upon issues ranging from "Operation Blue Star", "Threat of ISIS", "Militarization of the Arctic"," Empowerment of Women through Education."

The event will see H.E. Mr. Jozef Drofenik, Ambassador of Slovenia, Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr. Amita Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity Group of Schools, Arnaud Gespalt- First Secretary, Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium among others as the chief guest.
H.E. Mr. Jozef Drofenik, Ambassador of Slovenia, Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia appreciated Amity for its remarkable achievements. Commending the theme of the Conference, H. E. stressed that in an integrated world with digital economies and fading boundaries, competent workforce with multi-cultural knowledge and proficiency in foreign language is imperative.
Delivering key note address, Arnaud Gespalt- First Secretary, Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium traced the background of First World War and Second World War, which necessitated the formation of UN.

He applauded the concept of MUNs which apprise students with the working of various Councils of UN and called upon the participants of AIMUN to think and act in a way which could make world a better place to live in.
