Angela Merkel's office sealed off after suspicious package found

The office of German Chancellor Angela Merkel has been sealed off after a suspicious package was found there.

According to The Independent, image from the scene showed four yellow postal crates abandoned in heavy snow outside the chancellory in Berlin.

A German police spokesman said that the suspicious package is being investigated. However, he did not mention whether they were planning to conduct a controlled explosion.
