Aussie biologist believes stem cell cures may end dreadful illnesses

An Australian scientist has revealed that stem cell cures may be the solution to some of the most dreadful illnesses.
Professor Alan Trounson said that stem-cell cures for inherited blood disorders and HIV/AIDS are close to completion and added that several promising clinical trials are taking place, News.com.au reported.
The head of California's multi-billion dollar stem cell agency added that therapies for Type 1 diabetes are being trialed and a correction or cure is almost certain.
He also revealed that there are going to be "big changes" in the next five years.
