The BCCI on Friday sought a clarification from the Supreme Court on whether former cricket board chief N. Srinivasan can attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) as the head of the Tamil Nadu cricket Association (TNCA).
According to reports, a BCCI lawyer said it is urgent for the BCCI to conduct its AGM and important for it to know if Srinivasan could attend it.
The apex court, however, said it will take up the case, but didn't give a specific date for the hearing.
The BCCI's working committee meeting was adjourned on September 12 after its members objected to Srinivasan's presence as a TNCA representative.
