Bobby Jindal announces candidature for US presidency

Louisiana Governor Piyush 'Bobby' Jindalon Wednesday announced his candidature for the United States presidency.

The 44-year-old made the announcement via twitter.

"I'm running for President of the United States of America," he posted.

Belonging to the Republican Party, Jindal is the first person of Indian origin to formally run for president.
