Bomb blast in Guwahati, atleast five injured

A bomb blast has been reported here at a busy locality this evening.

The blast occurred near Paltan Bazaar police station and has left at least five people injured, according to Guwahati's Senior Superintendent A.P. Tiwari.

Since the blast occurred on a Sunday, the place was not as crowded as it usually is, Tiwari added.

No one has claimed responsibility for the incident yet.
