Botched eye surgeries: Centre seeks reports from Maharashtra

The Centre has sought a detailed report from the Maharashtra Government into alleged botched eye surgeries in which 14 cataract patients lost their sight.

Expressing his grief over the incident, Union Health Minister J. P. Nadda said about 14 people have lost sight in the state after cataract operations. Nadda said further course of action will be decided on the basis of the report.
