Burundi presidential aide killed in car attack

General Adolphe Nshimirimana, a close aide of Burundi's President Pierre Nkurunziza, has been killed in an attack on his car in Bujumbura.
According to BBC, four men in military fatigues shot bullets at the car with machine guns and rocket launchers in Kamenge district.
General Nshimirimana, who was the former army chief of staff and intelligence chief, was reportedly in charge of the President's personal security.
Burundi has been racked by unrest since April when Nkurunziza announced that he would seek a third term in office, which the opponents argue have contravened the Constitution.
There was a failed coup attempt in May against the Burundi President.
