The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday filed a chargesheet against gangster Chhota Rajan and three passport officials at the Patiala House Court for providing him fake passport.

The CBI has filed the chargesheet against Rajan, and three passport officials namely, Jayshree Rahate, Deepak Natvarlal Shah and Lalita Laxmanan.

The chargesheet has been filed under sections 120, 419, 420, 468, 471 and Prevention of Corruption Act (1988) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The court has also taken cognizance of the case and will interrogate the passport officials.
