China's plans to develop second aircraft carrier leaked online

China is developing a second aircraft carrier, according to news leaked online by local authority.

The Independent reports the authority in Changzhou, in eastern Jiangshu province, boasted on social media on Sunday that a local firm had won a contract to supply electrical cabling for the carrier.

However, the post was later deleted by the authority.
