A clash was witnessed today between students who were demanding a hostel and the police.
A lady constable present at the spot said, "The students were trying to cross the restricted area and police was stopping them from doing so. There was no lathi charge."
The students of Patna University had gathered in demand of a hostel which later took a bad shape.
