Activists of the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) on Thursday protested against the Jan Lokpal Bill passed by the Delhi Government and termed it a "Jokepal" and "Makhaulpal".
The Congress activists athered at the Vidhan Sabha Road here this afternoon and raised slogans against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
They dubbed Kejriwal as "corrupt", while accusing him of cheating the people of Delhi.
The Delhi Police used water cannons to disperse the protesters.
Congress leader Narender Nath said Kejriwal had promised that he would bring a Jan Lokpal Bill for which the people of Delhi voted him to power.
"But what the Kejriwal government has brought is a 'Jokepal' and 'Makhaulpal' and not the Jan Lokpal Bill promised by him," he added.
He said Kejriwal has no right to continue as the Chief Minister and added that he must resign.
