The CPN Maoist Centre has announced to run the party through its headquarters for the time being.
The first meeting of the Maoist party's Central Committee decided to incorporate Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Ram Bahadur Thapa, Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Matrika Yadav, Dev Gurung, Tilak Pariyar, Mani Thapa and Jayapuri Gharti in the headquarters led by the party chairman, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, reports The Himalayan Times.
The CPN Maoist Centre was recently formed with the unification of several Maoist parties and groups including the Dahal-led UCPN-Maoist and the Thapa-led CPN Revolutionary Maoist as the major constituents.
It has been learned that the nine-member headquarters will lead the party till a new work division is made and the office bearers are chosen.
The party's Central Committee meeting, which kicked off here in the Capital yesterday resumed this afternoon and concluded making the decision.
