Decomposed male body found hanging inside JNU premises

A decomposed male body was found hanging from a tree in Jawaharlal Nehru University's (JNU) forest area today.

A PCR call was received from the university informing about the incident, at 5:45 pm.

A mobile phone, Aadhaar card, election card, driving licence of a heavy vehicle, a purse, Rs 90 and a badge were recovered from the garments of the deceased.

The deceased has been identified as Rampravesh Singh, 40-year-old, who was a resident of Delhi's Najafgarh.

Other facts are being verified by the police.
