A super 'Star Wars' fan, suffering from a rare form of cancer, had his dying wish come true when an unfinished cut of 'Star Wars
Daniel Fleetwood, the super fan, was told in July that he had only two months to live. His dying wish was to see an advanced screening of the movie.
Daniel's wife Ashley posted his photo, captioning it "#forcefordaniel help my man get his last wish, to see a screening of Star Wars before cancer takes him. @bad_robot," E!Online reports.
The social media outburst for Daniel caught the eye of director J.J. Abrams and his wish was finally granted.
"To all our wonderful supporters, friends, family and awesome strangers: Daniels final dream was just granted!!! Today the wonderful Disney and Lucasfilms made his final dream come true, in the amazing typical Disney way, they really do make dreams come true," Ashley wrote on Facebook.
The special screening of the movie took place at Daniel's residence. His wife has revealed that 'it was an amazing experience'.
