Clint Eastwood has talked about the impact of 'American Sniper' movie at Producers Guild Nominees Awards breakfast at the Saban Theatre.

The 84-year-old actor said that his film 'American Sniper' and other war films, like 'Letters from Iwo Jima,' make the strongest anti-war statement in their depiction of families back at home and the fallout of soldiers' PTSD and show what war does to the people left behind, Deadline.com reported.

The producer/director said that after WWII, the troops were expected to just go home and get over it, but now there is help for the returning vets.

He added that they're straightening all that out now.
