England has beaten West Indies by five runs in the third and final Twenty20 on Thursday, their lone victory in the three-game series, at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown.

England batsman Chris Jordan put the icing on an England total of 165-6 off 20 overs with his unbeaten 27 off nine balls, which included four sixes in the final over, and he added three wickets and a sensational catch to top off the platform set by openers Michael Lumb (63) and Alex Hales (38).

According to News.com.au, West Indies' medium-pacer Krishmar Santokie claimed 2-27 while fellow left-armer, pacer Sheldon Cottrell took 2-37 on debut.

The West Indies chase was rocked early by Jade Dernbach and Jordan before Lendl Simmons (69) and Denesh Ramdin (33) set up a grandstand finish, the report added.
