FIFA has reportedly not banned Suarez mask which was fashioned by numerous fans during Uruguay's last 16 World Cup clash against Colombia.
Some fans were banned from taking the masks inside the Maracana but FIFA spokesperson Delia Fischer said that there was no such order to stewards. The stewards must have acted on their own Fisher added, Sport24 reported.
FIFA banned Suarez for nine national team games and four months in general from all football-related activity after the striker bit Giorgio Chiellini's shoulder during Uruguay's 1-0 win over Italy in their group match.
