Fire damages timber factory in Delhi

A timber factory located on the outskirts of New Delhi was damaged on Wednesday by the fire.

As many as 23 fire tenders headed to douse the fire.

Fire fighters at the spot said that the situation was under control.

No loss of human life has been reported.

In most industries and residential dwellings across India, fire safety regulations are lax, rarely implemented and not periodically reviewed, which results in the breaking of major fire, resulting in loss of life and material.
