'Flames of Paradise' penned by Tanuja Shankar Khan released

'Flames of Paradise' written by Tanuja Shankar Khan, was released recently on July 31 here at the city's Oxford Book Store in Connaught Place.

Published by Ocean Books, this novel is a first by Khan, which is a 128-page book, having eleven chapters.

Set in the backdrop of militancy hit Kashmir, this adventure romance, talks about a woman cinematographer, Snigdha whose love blossoms with an investigative journalist, Roshan Khan, whom she discovers later after initially loathing him to be a member of a terrorist group, helping them in taking her hostage.

The story revolves around many nail-biting events as the story unfolds making the reader deeply engrossed till one finds the answers.

 

On the occasion of her book release, the author, who is presently working as Channel Advisor, at Doordarshan National, in the national capital said: " Writing flames of Paradise' for me has been a natural progression from a film maker to an author. Being an incorrigible romantic, my first novel to be a love story seems absolutely natural for me. A dream come true, to be releasing my book at the hub of literati intellectual and book lovers, Oxford Bookstore, Connaught Place."
