George Coetzee maintains one-shot lead at 2.5 mln-dollar Qatar Masters

South African golfer George Coetzee has maintained his one-shot lead midway through the second round of the 2.5 million-dollar Qatar Masters at the Doha Golf Club on Thursday.
Last year's Qatar runner-up Coetzee, who is aiming to win his first title, shot a 69 for an 11 under total to stay ahead of England's Steve Webster, despite dropping four shots, which included a double-bogey six on the 474-yard 11th hole, which was his second.
According to Sport24, Englishman Steve Webster, who had recorded a sensational albatross on his first hole on Wednesday, remained in second spot on 10 under with a 69, with Thomas Aiken, another South African, in third place a further shot down.
A bunch of five players including American John Daly were a shot behind on eight under, the report added.
