Idris Elba says would 'absolutely play James Bond' if offered role

Idris Elba has admitted that he was ready to play the popular British spy James Bond if offered.

During an Ask Me Anything QandA session on Reddit, a fan asked the 42-year-old actor if he would fill in the shoes for agent 007after Daniel Craig, at which Elba replied "absolutely," People magazine reported.

Elba, who's been signed to play Shere Khan in Jon Favreau's upcoming version of 'The Jungle Book,' also revealed that his favorite Disney movie was 'Mary Poppins.
