India A defeated Australia A by four wickets in the final of the ongoing tri-series here on Friday.
Opting to bat first, Australia A posted a disappointing target of 226 for the loss of nine wickets.
India A chased down the target in 43.3 overs for the loss of six wickets, with the help of Gurkeerat Singh's unbeaten knock of 87.

After the defeat, Australia A skipper Usman Khawaja said that his team had performed consistently well throughout the tournament, but had failed to do so on Friday.

The triangular series also featured South Africa A which was earlier knocked out of the tournament by India A.
