Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Mauritius Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam agreed to further strengthen the relationship between the two countries.
"Both leaders agreed to further strengthen relations especially economic cooperation and interactions in the field of maritime security, renewable energy and blue economy including development of related infrastructure," said Foreign Secretary Sujatha Singh.
She also said that the two leaders also agreed to work together with all the other members in further strengthening Indian Ocean Rim Association.
Earlier, the Prime Minister of Mauritius, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House here on Tuesday.
