Is caramel spread confiscation reason for Uruguay's defeat?

Uruguay fears that the world cup might be jinxed as Brazilian officials have confiscated their favourite toffee spread.

The officials seized 80 lbs of 'dulce de leche' when the team was flown down to Brazil due to the lack of health certificate, Mirror reported.

This seizure is now being blamed for the Uruguay's defeat in their opening match against Costa Rica in which they lost 3-1.
