The Israeli military shelled a Hamas-run checkpoint in the northern Gaza Strip on Monday, killing one and injuring one.
The ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qidra said, "Mohamed Ahmed al-Radei, 25, was killed, while a second person was moderately injured by Israeli shelling near the Gaza Strip's northern border," Anadolu Agency quoted.
Hamas's armed wing, Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, located east of northern Gaza's town of Beit Lahia was targeted by the Israeli artillery.
