Pakistan's High Commissioner to India, Abdul Basit, on Saturday said that Islamabad has always maintained that it wants good relations with New Delhi, and added that issues could be resolved only if both nations have the 'will'.
"If both sides have the will, then there is no reason our issues cannot be dealt with. Pakistan has always maintained that we want good relations with India," said Basit.
Meanwhile, Basit met the Imam of Fatehpuri Masjid in the national capital on the occasion of Eid.
The Eid-ul-Fitr festival marks the end of the holy month of Ramzan.
