The First All Assam Junior and Sub-junior Boys and Girls Taekwondo championship was held recently at the Kushal Konwar Memorial Indoor Stadium in Jorhat.
Organized by the All Assam Taekwondo Association under the aegis of Taekwondo Federation of India, the tournament aims to encourage and provide exposure to talented taekwondo practitioners by giving them a national level platform.
About 400 individuals from more than 20 districts of Assam are taking part in the ongoing championship.
