English golfer Tommy Fleetwood has taken an one shot lead at the Volvo Golf Champions in Durban on Saturday with a third round 69, which moved him to a ten under par total of 206.
Fleetwood, who is seeking his second win on the European Tour, produced four birdies and a lone bogey, while France's Victor Dubuisson and Dutch golfer Joost Luiten shared the second spot on 207, with 2013 winner Louis Oosthuizen two off the pace despite a triple bogey seven at the 16th.
According to Sport24, Fleetwood, who opened his Tour account in the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles last year, expressed his satisfaction to be in the lead after a demanding day's play, saying that it is showing that he is maturing as a golfer.
Fleetwood is hoping a win in Durban can set him up for an 'exceptional' year leading to a place in Paul McGinley's Ryder Cup team, the report added.
