As Indian opener Smriti Mandhana is all set to appear in Kia Super League - the women's cricket super league in England, Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators (CoA) member Diana Edulji has wished her a successful stint.
The 21-year-old will become the first Indian player to appear in Kia Super League when she features for Western Storm in the upcoming edition of the tournament.
And Edulji remained hopeful that the upcoming league would be a good preparation for Mandhana ahead of the T20I World Cup.
"Here is wishing Smriti a successful stint in the Kia League. I hope it enables her to become a stronger player and she utilises this experience for India in the forthcoming T20I World Cup," Mandhana told ANI.
The 21-year-old India opener has scored over 826 runs with the highest score of 76 in the 40 T20Is that she has played so far.
Last month, she captained the Indian Premier League (IPL) Trailblazers in the recent Women's T20 Challenge, which took place ahead of the IPL Qualifier One. Smriti has also featured in the Big Bash League (BBL) for Brisbane Heat.
