Kolkata: TMC's student wing protests against vandalisation of Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar's statue

TMC's student wing on Wednesday staged a protest against the vandalisation of Chandra Vidyasagar's statue during clashes in Chief Amit Shah's roadshow in the city.

This comes a day after a bust of the 19th-century social reformer, Chandra Vidyasagar, was vandalised by the workers at during the clashes here.

Clashes reportedly broke out after some miscreants started throwing sticks at the convoy in which the was travelling in.
