LeEco introduces user-centric ecosystem in India

Le Eco, the multinational internet and technology conglomerate, recently launched its two Superphones in India and introduced their Ecosystem to Indian users on a grand launch event on January 20th.

Le Eco is in the true sense a game changer purely because of its disruptive business model and a user-centric ecosystem providing global audiences a chance to experience disruptive technology at its best. The "Le Ecosystem" is a next-generation Internet engine that is vertically-integrated to offer an online platform complete with content, devices, and applications.

Introducing the Le Ecosystem to India, Le Eco also announced content partnerships with Eros Now for Video-on-demand (VOD) and with YuppTV for TV content streaming, with the aim to build an integrated content ecosystem across devices.

 

The integration with content providers enables LeEco to scale its Le Ecosystem model in India, bringing end-users a universal content ecosystem that enables anytime, anywhere accessibility to video content. The Le Ecosystem maximizes the value to the consumers, providing users an intuitive interface that powers video content and live TV on their mobile devices.

Speaking on the content partnerships, Atul Jain, COO, Smart Electronics Business, Le Eco India said that his company has always been proud of our innovative content-integrated ecosystem.

"We're very excited to be the first company to introduce the concept of content ecosystem on mobile devices in India...We are confident that this will not only add an entirely new dimension to the user's experience but will change the dynamics of the industry."

The partnership with Yupp TV, marks the first time a content platform and a smart device provider have entered into such an association. The collaboration will give users access to YuppTV's catalogue of live TV channels, allowing them to view television on the go. Additionally, as part of the tie-up with Eros Now, LeEco will provide its consumers with the mammoth content offering of Bollywood and regional movies. Users will be able to use this VoD service directly on the Le Max and the Le 1s Superphones.

Bollywood and television content have become an integral part of Indian culture, but with changing lifestyles user are increasing looking for entertainment on the go, as they don't always have time to follow their favorite shows on TV or go to the cinemas. LeEco brings to India a unique ecosystem experience that gives consumers an innovative and exciting way to access their favorite entertainment 24x7.
