The Manipuri Theatre Academy, Wangoi, a rural theatre group, recently showcased a play titled "Water Water" which highlighted the prevailing situation in the state, especially the issues of insurgency and environment.
The play tried to look into the root cause for the growth of insurgency and problems faced by the people.
It also highlighted water problems faced by the villagers.
While water is a basic necessity for survival, the village of Manikhul has been facing its scarcity for the last 20 years.
