The death toll in the fire that broke out on the 12th floor of a Mumbai high rise building on Friday night has gone up to seven.
Six fire fighters were also injured while carrying out rescue operations.
Fire brigade officials said the cause of the fire is being ascertained.
Fire fighters have rescued around 30 people from the building.
Fourteen fire tenders and seven water tankers were used to control the fire in five hours.
