'Negative' alliance of RJD-JD (U) will be defeated in Bihar, says Pradhan

Minister of State for Petroleum Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday said that the 'negative' Janata Dal (United) and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) alliance would face the same kind of defeat as they faced during the 2014 general elections.
"The JD (U)-RJD alliance is a negative alliance. The head of the alliance, Mulayam Singh Yadav, who was shown as the face of the alliance, left it in the middle. There are many others who have left the alliance," Pradhan told ANI.
"This kind of negative alliance would be rejected by the people of Bihar in the same way as was done in the last general elections," he added.
The Samajwadi Party had earlier withdrawn its support from the RJD-JD (U) alliance over a seat-sharing disagreement.
