Former Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar today met Communist Party of India (CPI) leader A.B. Bardhan.
Bardhan, however, was non committal on reports of a possible alliance between the two parties.
"The discussion was centered on the present political situation of Bihar," Bardhan told ANI after the meeting.
The CPI along with the RJD and the Congress had helped the JD (U) candidates in winning the Rajya Sabha by-election recently.
