With a new app called Commandr, users can have their personalized voice commands on Google Now.

Users can now toggle Wi-Fi on or off, pause music, or ask phone to read text messages out loud, all by speaking a few simple voice commands, CNET reported.

Commandr plugs into Google Now's voice assistant to let users control their phone by speaking to it.

The app was introduced last month, but was a bit limited at the get-go.

The app required users to say "note to self" first, then the command they wanted. Just a few weeks after launching, an update changed that, and now one can simply state their desired command, such as 'GPS On' or 'Raise volume', the report added.
