A group of Naxals on Monday night killed a youth at Kukurakunda village in Malkangiri district of Odisha and torched several vehicles, police said.
According to reports, several armed Naxals had asked a contractor to stop road construction work in the Temurpali area of the district.
The Naxals later set ablaze several vehicles which were engaged in the road construction work.
The police said the Naxals killed Gupta Swain by slitting his throat. They also left a poster before fleeing the spot.
