Paul McCartney has confessed his secret of keeping the romance alive with his wife Nancy, who is living thousands of miles away in New York.
The 71-year old singer revealed that in their early days, when he lived in New York and his wife in East Sussex, he followed a routine of taking his youngest daughter to school, came back and wrote a song for her to hear in the three hours that he had because of the time difference before she woke up.
He would lovingly serenade his missus on the phone, the Mirror reported.
It is not surprising that after writing some of the world's most romantic songs for the Beatles, there wouldn't be any song written for Nancy.
Some of the songs of his new album are written in honour of Nancy.
The 'Yesterday' hit-maker said that she is a great motivation and inspiration, and the title track being on her is about finding new love.
