PayPal has unveiled one-touch payment module across the web.

According to the TechCrunch, the service will allow users to check out from the merchant's website without having to re-authenticate with PayPal. The system is called One Touch for Web.

Bill Ready, senior vice president of Merchant and Next Generation Commerce at PayPal was quoted as saying, that with One Touch, the biggest issue faced by the merchants is that huge fall-off in conversion, especially on mobile. He was also quoted as saying, that majority of purchases still happens on the mobile web, so this was pretty important.

Now the customers wouldn't have to continually enter in their username and password each time they wanted to pay using PayPal, that information would be stored and shared between supported apps.

The system will be enabled for most of PayPal's current merchants automatically.

PayPal has 165 million customers and they will soon be able take advantage of the new feature, according to the company.
