Three people were arrested by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) here on Friday allegedly for stealing money from a Kolkata based businessman.
The RPF recovered Rs 2.23 crore in cash and 17 AC tickets from their possession, according to the police.
Earlier, a businessman, Gourav Kumar, had complained in Jharsuguda Police station about his bag being stolen from AC bogie with cash of Rs 3.14 crore.
The accused have been identified as Sanjay Gupta, Sunil Kumar and Rajan Srivastav.
Further investigation is being conducted in the case.
