Rupee plunges to 67.18, Sensex, Nifty continue to gain

The Rupee plunged by 11 paise at 67.18 against US dollar at early trade on Friday at the Interbank Foreign Exchange market as the US currency firmed up overseas.

Dealers attributed the Rupee's fall to increased demand for the US currency.

Meanwhile, Sensex is up 8.17 points at 24631.51and the Nifty is up 0.05 points at 7486.20.
