'Sant Kabir Das was path breaking, progressive reformist': PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who paid tributes to Sant Kabir Das on the occasion of Kabir Jayanti, said that the latter was a path breaking and progressive reformist.

"Sant Kabir Das ji was a pathbreaking & progressive reformist. He dreamt of a just & equal society. Tributes on his Jayanti," he tweeted.

Kabir Das Jayanti is celebrated in honour of Sant Kabir and is observed as an auspicious day dedicated to the poet.
