Sensex ends up 216 pts, Nifty above 7650
The Sensex ended up 216.27 points or 0.9 percent trading at 25252.32, whereas the Nifty ended up 70.80 points at 7683.30.
Stocks such as Tata Steel, Hindalco, Bajaj Auto and GAIL were top gainers while Lupin, Tata Motors, BHEL and SBI were among the laggards.
