Srinagar receives brief snowfall; season's first

Srinagar on Sunday received first bout of snow of the season that lasted for about half an hour.

Met officials said the temperature dipped to four degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, fresh snowfall and intermittent rains blocked the 300-km-long Jammu-Srinagar National Highway - the only surface link of the Kashmir Valley with outside world.
